The Kitchen is pleased to present the New York Premiere of Scaffold Room in an expanded format created by choreographer, director and conceptual artist Ralph Lemon. This installation, performance and reading series of seminal, subversive texts refracts ideas and images of the female artist in American pop and contemporary art.

The Kitchen, founded in 1971, has continued to serve as an important catalyst for a broad community of groundbreaking artists working across disciplines. With a new performance piece called Marco debuting, the excitiing ID's 3rd edition of Recession Art Show, the final weeks of Richard Garet's audio-visual installation Electrochroma, [and 2 live performances] the 2nd edition of Zero Film Festival and the closing of Yanira Castro's dance installation Wilderness, The Invisible Dog will warm you mind AND body (thanks in part to our giant industrial space-heaters!)

Richard Daniels -- the 54-year-old dancer/choreographer who began to create a
daring, new body of work 10 years ago when he resumed his career in dance
after a 15-year absence -- will present his newest concert, RICHARD DANIELS:
TELLING TALES for four performances only September 29 to October 2 at Danspace
Project (131 E. 10 St.) in Manhattan.
