Disney's Aladdin, a new musical comedy based on the classic Academy Award®-winning animated film, will premiere Thursday 11 August 2016 at the Capitol Theatre, Sydney.

A group of Australia and New Zealand's most outstanding musical theatre performers and fresh faces has been announced for Disney's new musical comedy, Aladdin, it was announced today. They will be joined by Broadway performer Michael James Scott in the role of the Genie.

Blue Saint Production's GUILTY PLEASURES, is a one woman performance, telling the murderous stories of 5 women, bought to life with a wonderful intensity by Angelique Cassimatis. Written by Josh Robson (Winner, 2014 Rob Guest Endowment Award) with music by Robert Tripolino and Lyrics by Hugo Chiarella, the 1 hour cabaret explores how 5 women justify murder as they are consumed by emotions and desperate situations.

The Production Company's final installment for 2014 La Cage Au Folles opened last night at the Arts Centre. Based on the play by Jean Poiret, opening in 1983 and winning 6 Tony Awards on Broadway, La Cage tells the story of Georges (Simon Burke), owner of the famous La Cage Au Folles club in St.Tropez where his partner Albin (Todd Mckenney) is the star drag act. Georges son Jean-Michel (Robert Tripolino) returns to the club to announce that he is engaged to Anne (Emily Milledge), daughter of the Edouard Dindon (Gary Sweet) leader of the Tradition Family and Morality Party. What ensues is a riotous fusion of two different worlds coupled with a touching story of love and the bond of family set against Jerry Herman's fun, poignant score.

Blue Saint Productions is a fresh company based in both Sydney and Melbourne that are striving toward producing original and existing works. Joshua Robson (Les Miserables) and Damien Bermingham (Strictly Ballroom) are the founders of the company. They met each other in King Kong: Live on Stage in 2013 and discovered their passion for producing when they produced 'Together We Stand' (King Kong Charity Concert). They are very excited to be putting on their inaugural production of Guilty Pleasures at Chapel off Chapel in October 2014.

The Production Company today announced additional performances in its season of Harvey Fierstein and Jerry Herman masterpiece, La Cage Aux Folles. These additional performances in the Playhouse at Arts Centre Melbourne are on November 21 and 30 and December 2 and 7.
