A&E Network has picked up a 10-episode third season of the acclaimed drama series, “Longmire” starring Robert Taylor, it was announced today by David McKillop, General Manager and Executive Vice President of A&E.

A previously unseen and newly acquired photograph of one of Britain's most important actresses, Vivien Leigh, and her husband Laurence Olivier, taken at the height of their celebrity status will go on display at the National Portrait Gallery tomorrow (Friday 1 November 2013). The photograph will be shown alongside two rarely seen portraits of the couple to mark the start of the Gallery's programme celebrating the centenary of Leigh's birth.

American entrepreneur and investor Chris King launches a film production company, Cruzach Films, Inc. and will allocate $15 million to fund new film and TV projects. Cruzach Films has started production on its first feature film, What Lola Wants in partnership with The Bubble Factory and legendary producer, Sid Sheinberg. Sheinberg is an icon in the movie business, known for discovering Steven Spielberg along with his work on projects that include Jaws, Schindler's List, ET, and Jurassic Park.

From his home in Ucross, Wyoming, population 25, popular 'Walt Longmire' author Craig Johnson writes mystery novels. Set in a fictional but vividly realistic Wyoming locale, the series follows Sheriff Walt Longmire and his cohorts as they investigate crimes and incidents large and small. Johnson launched his last two novels at the Buffalo Bill Center of the West in Cody, Wyoming; today, July 3, he returns to the Center to meet and greet the city's Stampede fans.

A&E Network is scheduling in some summer drama this Memorial Day, premiering back-to-back new seasons of its popular scripted series 'Longmire,' from Warner Horizon Television, and 'The Glades,' from FOX Television Studios. Season Two of the contemporary crime thriller 'Longmire' premieres tonight, May 27th at 10 PM ET/PT immediately following the fourth season premiere of the hit drama 'The Glades' at 9 PM ET/PT. This year, crime doesn't get a holiday.
