Atlantic recording group Death Cab for Cutie has announced details of their upcoming fall tour. The dates - which see the 8x GRAMMY® Award-nominated band playing intimate venues and theatres across North America - begin September 24th at Eugene, OR's Hult Center for the Performing Arts and travel through mid-October (see attached itinerary). Death Cab for Cutie pre-sales begin Wednesday, May 2nd at 10am (local). One dollar from each ticket purchased through the band's website will go towards The Aurora Commons - a Seattle based non-profit organization which offers a safe space for unhoused neighbors to rest, prepare a meal, connect to resources, and collectively create a healthy and vibrant community. 'International Blue' is the first new release from MANIC STREET PREACHERS in four years and is available today in the U.S. Taken from the band's thirteenth studio album RESISTANCE IS FUTILE out on Shornday/The Orchard on April 13, 2017, the single is unfiltered and classic Manic Street Preachers. Inspired by the city of Nice in the mid winter sun and the life's work of French Nouveau realisme artist Yves Klein, the song is built over an immense riff that echoes the twin Manics album peaks of Generation Terrorists and Everything Must Go.

Indie rock legend Kristin Hersh, most recognised as the frontperson for the influential art-punk band Throwing Muses and power trio 50FOOTWAVE, will kick off a short visit to the UK this summer with her sold-out performance at Robert Smith's Meltdown Festival on June 21st, followed by a set of solo dates in Glasgow, Newcastle, Halifax, Cambridge, Ramsgate and Brighton.

The Neighborhood House program of Christ Church Preservation Trust, a catalyst for the arts at historic Christ Church, hosts the International Contemporary Ensemble in a year-long residency to celebrate Christ Church's new C.B. Fisk pipe organ, Opus 150. The residency culminates with world premiere performances of In Plain Air, a work in multiple movements by composers Nathan Davis and Phyllis Chen, on September 22 and 23 as part of the 2018 Fringe Festival.
