Nasty Cherry Releases WHAT DO YOU LIKE IN ME?

The internet buzzed but the only one who really knew Nasty Cherry was Charli XCX. Now, the female-fronted, Los Angeles-based all-girl band delivers their sophomore single,“What Do You Like In Me?” released today on Charli XCX's label imprint Vroom Vroom Recordings--alongside the official music video produced and codirected by lead-singer Gabbriette and creative Indiana Piorek. Quirky, off beat, silly and sexy, the video perfectly demonstrates what Nasty Cherry embodies.

Zions Bank in partnership with Spike150, CRWDA and Ogden Musical Theatre presented Gold Mountain, written by 2017 ASCAP Foundation's Cole Porter Award recipient Jason Ma as a series of semi-staged concert performances at the Regent Street Black Box at The Eccles Theater in Salt Lake City and in partnership with Ogden Musical Theatre, at the historic Peery's Egyptian Theater in Ogden, May 8 - May 11.

Morgxn to Support Robert Delong During US Tour

LA-based artist morgxn will be supporting Robert Delong on a string of U.S. tour dates, kicking off February 6, 2019 in Chicago.  morgxn recently released a collaboration with WALK THE MOON on his standout single “home.” With dynamic accompanying visuals, “home” seamlessly blends morgxn's vocals with WALK THE MOON frontman Nicholas Petricca. The pair sang “home” for the first time live at morgxn's Lollapaloozadebut performance earlier this summer and decided to go into the studio to turn it into an official collaboration. The track which has been rapidly climbing the alternative radio charts is currently #27 while the video has over 750K views.

Tonight, Carnegie Hall opened its 2018-2019 season with a sold out gala benefit concert featuring the San Francisco Symphony conducted by Music Director and Carnegie Hall Perspectives artist Michael Tilson Thomas. The program included Gershwin's Cuban Overture and An American in Paris as well as Liszt's Mephisto Waltz No. 1. Mr. Tilson Thomas and the orchestra were joined on this celebratory occasion by renowned sopranos Renee Fleming and Audra McDonald offering vocal selections by Gershwin, Rodgers, Villa-Lobos, Stephen Sondheim, and others.

Christ Church Celebrates New Organ With IN PLAIN AIR

The Neighborhood House program of Christ Church Preservation Trust, a catalyst for the arts at historic Christ Church, presents five free world premiere performances of In Plain Air, a work in multiple movements by composers Nathan Davis and Phyllis Chen that marks the culmination of the International Contemporary Ensemble's year-long residency in celebration of Christ Church's new C.B. Fisk pipe organ, Opus 150. Performances will take place at Christ Church today, September 22 at 1pm, 3:30pm, and 6pm and on Sunday, September 23 at 3:30pm and 6pm. Movements employing Christ Church's historic bells, custom instruments, and itinerant musicians will convey audiences across the entire Christ Church campus before introducing them to Opus 150. Presented in partnership with FringeArts, all performances of In Plain Air will be free. Major support for In Plain Air has been provided by The Pew Center for Arts & Heritage.

Morgxn To Make Lollapalooza Debut, Reveals Live Version of CARRY THE WEIGHT

Following the release of his debut album vital HERE (via wxnderlost/Hollywood Records), LA-based artist morgxn is set to make his Lollapalooza debut this weekend. First, opening for Carly Rae Jepsen at Friday's sold-out, official Lollapalooza after show, followed by his main performance Saturday on the BMI stage and a stripped down set at the Bud Light Dive Bar. Death Cab for Cutie Announce Fall Headline Tour

Atlantic recording group Death Cab for Cutie has announced details of their upcoming fall tour. The dates - which see the 8x GRAMMY® Award-nominated band playing intimate venues and theatres across North America - begin September 24th at Eugene, OR's Hult Center for the Performing Arts and travel through mid-October (see attached itinerary). Death Cab for Cutie pre-sales begin Wednesday, May 2nd at 10am (local). Edward Baxter was a successful psychiatrist, beloved by his many patients-until he was framed for murder. Now on the run with an assumed identity and a suspicious new wife, his luck is running out. Edward seeks help from Dr. Robert Smith, a fellow psychiatrist and a man with inner demons of his own. When Edward's meeting with Dr. Smith goes wildly awry and leaves Edward clinging precariously to his last shred of sanity, Dr. Smith's patient Lydia (a goodhearted psychic woman with clues to Edward's past) arrives for her appointment to find Edward in big trouble. Despite the chaos created by unexpected visitors and quirks in Lydia's psychic powers, Lydia does her best to gain Edward's trust and help him find justice as his world rapidly approaches critical mass.
