The long-running Off-Broadway comedy smash HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER, starring Kevin James Doyle and Olivia Petzy, will celebrate its two-year anniversary tonight, August 22nd at Planet Hollywood Times Square. HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER began performances August 22, 2012 at Sofia's Downstairs Theater, where the show played to packed houses for more than a year.

As Baltimore celebrates the bicentennial of the War of 1812 with its Inner Harbor Sailabration and Baltimore County hosts Star Spangled 200, the Community College of Baltimore County is focusing its commemoration of this historic event on a musical drama based on the "Battle of North Point." More than two years in the planning, CCBC has created an original patriotic musical pageant O'er the Ramparts that will premiere at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 12 and Saturday, Sept. 13 and at 2 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 14 in the John E. Ravekes Theatre at CCBC Dundalk, 7200 Sollers Point Road.

Due to overwhelming demand, the long-running Off-Broadway comedy smash HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER, starring Kevin James Doyle and Olivia Petzy, today put a new block of seats on sale through January 3, 2015. HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER began performances August 22, 2012 at Sofia's Downstairs Theater, where the show played to packed houses for more than a year. The production reopened on October 19, 2013 to unanimous rave reviews at the brand new Screening Room Theater at Planet Hollywood Times Square, 1540 Broadway (entrance on 45th Street just east of Broadway).

Margaret Copeland will play her final performance in the long-running Off-Broadway comedy smash HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER this Saturday night, August 2nd at Planet Hollywood. She is set to be married three weeks later. As previously reported on Broadway World, Margaret's engagement to Colin Hunter, CEO of Alton Lane Custom Clothing, was announced on stage by her co-star Kevin James Doyle after the April 11th performance. Olivia Petzy will assume Margaret's role(s) on August 8th.

Discover Baltimore County's role in the War of 1812 during the world premiere of 'O'er the Ramparts' Sept. 12-14, 2014 at the John E. Ravekes Theatre in the College Community Center at the Community College of Baltimore County, Dundalk, 7200 Sollers Point Road. Kevin James Doyle, currently starring with Margaret Copeland in HOW TO BE A NEW YORKER at Planet Hollywood, just released this photo showing the unhappy results when he neglected to use sunscreen earlier this week. Kevin hopes this will serve as a warning to his fans to take special care of their skin as the local weather forecast calls for plenty of sun this holiday weekend.

Artistic Director Robert Lyons presents the 21st annual Obie Award-winning Ice Factory Festival. Ice Factory 2014 takes place at the New Ohio Theatre, located at 154 Christopher Street between Greenwich and Washington Streets in New York City. Ice Factory 2014 will present six new works over six weeks, beginning tonight, June 25, and continuing through August 2, 2014.
