The final installment in the TWILIGHT saga has officially been release - signaling the end of an era for some. BREAKING DAWN Part 2 debuted strong, taking in $141.3 million and the top spot at the weekend box office - though didn't break the franchise's box office record. That title belongs to the second film in the saga, NEW MOON, which took in $154 million its opening weekend in 2009.

IMAX Corporation and Summit Entertainment previously announced that THE TWILIGHT SAGA: BREAKING DAWN - PART 2 would be digitally re-mastered into the immersive IMAX format and released in the UK through Entertainment One in IMAX theatres starting today, November 16, 2012.

According to an interview with Mtv.com, Taylor Lautner (aka Jacob Black) feels the sadness millions of fans are feeling as the last film of the Twilight film series is on the horizon.

Fandango, the nation's leading moviegoer destination, announced today that "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2" represents 92% of today's ticket sales, with thousands of showtimes sold out across the country, from major markets like New York and Los Angeles and smaller communities from Alabaster, Alabama to Zanesville, Ohio.

In 2010 Jimmy Kimmel declared November 17 National Unfriend Day, "NUD," a national holiday dedicated to giving Facebook users a guilt-free opportunity to "unfriend" people who aren't actually friends. In honor of the 3rd annual "NUD" celebration, Kimmel is encouraging viewers to evaluate their Facebook "friendships" and unfriend those unworthy of friend status.
