FilmRise has announced the August 23rd Blu-Ray and DVD release of TAB HUNTER CONFIDENTIAL. After an incredible year on the film festival circuit and a theatrical run across fifty cities in the United States, the acclaimed documentary will be available to rent or own from all major retailers.

The Board of ArtsRock has announced that Elliott Forrest, Artistic Director of the organization from its inception in 2008 will become the non-profit's first Executive Director starting July 1, 2016. Forrest will remain as Artistic Director in addition to his new role for ArtsRock who served over 2,000 audience members during their 2015-2016 Winter/Spring Season. LA Opera's 30th Anniversary Season will conclude with the world premiere of Anatomy Theater, opening on June 16. Created by Pulitzer Prize-winning and Academy Award-nominated composer David Lang, who co-wrote the libretto with Mark Dion, the new work is presented at REDCAT (631 West 2nd Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012) as part of the LA Opera Off Grand series. The presentation is part of a multi-season collaboration between LA Opera and Beth Morrison Projects to present cutting-edge contemporary works.

Elaine Paige is heading back to the New York stage later this month in PIAF: A CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION, and she's opening up with Out's Michael Musto about her career. The West End, who originated roles in Evita, Cats, and more, legend told Musto: 'The more years pass, I look back and think, "Who was that girl?" It seems a lifetime ago. I consider myself very lucky to have been part of the new musicals coming out of England. It was the renaissance of British musicals, so I feel very fortunate [to be involved] at the time Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice were writing those shows. Yes, I am proud.'
