From January 7-14, BRIC, as part of PROTOTYPE - OPERA | THEATRE | NOW, will present the New York premiere of anatomy theater.

The International Contemporary Ensemble (ICE) is featured in two events as part of the fifth annual PROTOTYPEfestival - the New York City premiere of David Lang and Mark Dion's theatrical work anatomy theater, and the Silent Voices concert.

Robert Osborne returns to Cafe Sabarsky to celebrate his new recording: Who Wants Love? Cabaret and Film Songs of Franz Waxman. The program features rarities in German, French, and English that trace Waxman's beginnings in Weimar-era Germany, to his later years as a political exile, and finally to Hollywood, where he composed some of the most iconic film scores.

After an incredible year on the film festival circuit and a theatrical run across fifty cities in the United States, the acclaimed documentary TAB HUNTER CONFIDENTIAL is available to rent or own on Blu-Ray and DVD from FilmRise.

Set in 1931 Berlin, Cabaret primarily takes place amid the nightlife of the seedy Kit Kat Klub. Life there revolves around the 19-year-old English cabaret performer, Sally Bowles and her relationship with the young American writer, Cliff Bradshaw. Overseeing the action is the mysterious Master of Ceremonies at the Kit Kat Klub, which serves as a metaphor for ominous political developments in Germany as the Nazis rise to power. Director Alan Demovsky encourages the audience to ask questions: "Why have so many versions of this story been told for almost 100 years? Is it truly a cautionary tale? Can this happen again? Is it perpetually happening?"

The Board of ArtsRock has announced that Elliott Forrest, Artistic Director of the organization from its inception in 2008 will become the non-profit's first Executive Director starting July 1, 2016. Forrest will remain as Artistic Director in addition to his new role for ArtsRock who served over 2,000 audience members during their 2015-2016 Winter/Spring Season.
