To celebrate the brand new production of THE SOUND OF MUSIC, Psycho Donuts has created a limited-edition donut, 'Jam and Bread," inspired by the song "Do-Re-Mi" from the acclaimed musical. "Jam and Bread" is a raised yeast donut filled with raspberry jam and will include a powdered sugar quarter note sprinkled on top. "Jam and Bread" will be available at Psycho Donuts (288 S. The McCallum Theatre presents the new national touring production of The Sound of Music, directed by three-time Tony Award® winner Jack O'Brien, for 8 performances, Tuesday, November 22, through Sunday, November 27. Harvey Fierstein's Casa Valentina won a deserved four Tony nominations in 2014 when it played on Broadway. Washington, D.C. - Tonight is Opening Night for the Shakespeare Theatre Company's production of Man of La Mancha, under the direction of STC Associate Artistic Director Alan Paul. The production features acclaimed Australian actor Anthony Warlow as Don Quixote, accompanied by Amber Iman as Aldonza and Nehal Joshi as Sancho. Man of La Mancha will play at Sidney Harman Hall (610 F Street NW) through April 26, 2015.
