?Running July 8th through July 23rd, Dorset Theatre Festival is proud to present the Regional Premiere of Sarah Ruhl's acclaimed play Dear Elizabeth. Dear Elizabeth chronicles the unconventional and remarkable thirty-year friendship between two of the most honored American poets of the 20th century: Elizabeth Bishop and Robert Lowell.

On Thursday, May 26, 6:00 PM, renowned poet Michael Dumanis will give a special talk at Northshire Bookstore ahead of the Dorset Theatre Festival's Regional Premiere of the hit Off-Broadway play, DEAR ELIZABETH by Sarah Ruhl.  

Building upon their continued reputation as a theatre where audiences can expect the unexpected, Dorset Theatre Festival's 2016 summer season will feature a historic collaboration with Vermont's Weston Playhouse and Northern Stage, a World Premiere by acclaimed playwright Theresa Rebeck, a Regional Premiere by award-winning playwright Sarah Ruhl, and an exciting revival of Broadway's recent Tony Award-winner Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill, featuring the life and music of jazz-icon Billie Holiday.

Theatre Nova, Ann Arbor's professional playwrights' theater, is thrilled to announce its 2016 Season of Michigan and World Premieres in The Yellow Barn performance space at 416 West Huron, in downtown Ann Arbor.
