Susan Cabral-Ebert, outgoing Local 706 President and Emmy®- nominated make-up artist, and Robert Louis Stevenson, legendary Emmy-winning hair stylist, will receive Lifetime Achievement Awards at the Annual Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards (MUAHS, IATSE Local 706) honoring outstanding achievements for make-up artists and hair stylists in motion pictures, television, commercials, and live theater. The black-tie awards gala returns to the NOVO by Microsoft in L.A. Live on Saturday, February 16, 2019.

The world premiere of Martin McDonagh's A Very Very Very Dark Matter at the Bridge Theatre is directed by Matthew Dunster. The cast comprises Johnetta Eula'Mae Ackles, Alistair Benson, Elizabeth Berrington, Paul Bradley, Noah Brignull, Jim Broadbent, Phil Daniels, Regan Garcia, Leo Hart, Graeme Hawley, Audrey Hayhurst, Kundai Kanyama, Lee Knight, Jamie McKie, Ryan Pope, James Roberts, Alice Selwyn, Austin Taylor, Amelia Walter and Annabelle Westenholz-Smith including nine children who will alternate a variety of roles. The 12-week run will conclude on 6 January 2019. The London Theatre Companyproduction is designed by Anna Fleischle with lighting by Philip Gladwell, music compositions by James Maloney, sound by George Dennis, special effects by Paul Wanklin and video effects by Finn Ross.

Salty Brine announces a new cabaret-theater hybrid production of And If You Listen Very Hard as the latest installment in his series, The Living Record Collection. And If You Listen Very Hard is inspired by Led Zeppelin's acclaimed album Led Zeppelin IV and Robert Louis Stevenson's Treasure Island. The show will perform at Pangea (178 2nd Avenue) on October 24 and November 9. On October 24, doors will open at 6:00pm and the show will begin at 7:00pm. On November 9, doors will open at 8:30pm and the show will begin at 9:30pm.

The award-winning Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company presents two events in time for Halloween: 'Poe by Candlelight' on Saturday, October 20 at 8:00p.m. and the classic silent thriller, 'Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde,' accompanied by Wayne Zimmerman on the organ, on Sunday, October 21 at 7:30p.m., both at The First Presbyterian Church, 500 Hughes Street in Cape May, where the theater is in residence.
