An evocative and sweeping musical tale of the epic battle between good and evil, Jekyll & Hyde is based on Robert Louis Stevenson's classic story about a brilliant doctor whose experiments with human personality create a murderous counterpart. Featuring a thrilling score of pop-rock hits from Frank Wildhorn and Leslie Bricusse, Jekyll & Hyde tells the saga of these counterparts one, a doctor, passionate and romantic; the other, a terrifying madman and the two women in love with him, unknowing of each other or his dark secret. This show is suitable for mature audiences.

Outcry Youth Theatre brings Robert Louis Stevenson's classic adventure, TREASURE ISLAND, to new audiences in this stage adaptation by Ken Ludwig. At the center of this stunning yarn of piracy on the tropical seas are Jim Hawkins, a 14-year-old boy who longs for adventure, and the infamous Long John Silver, who is a complex study of good and evil, perhaps the most famous hero-villain of all time.

Phil Daniels will lead the company in the titular role of Robert Louis Stevenson's Dr Jekyll & Mr Hyde at the King's Theatre Edinburgh, Tuesday 10 Saturday 14 April 2018, in this new production, adapted by David Edgar and directed by Kate Saxon.

In this reimagining, Placey positions our focus on Dr Jekyll's widow, Harriet, showing how she deals with grief and oppression.

UConn Avery Point, in collaboration with UConn School of Fine Arts and the Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry at the University of Connecticut will present the opening of a new exhibition--Sailors, Sea Creatures and Strings: Maritime Puppets from the Collections of the Ballard Institute--on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m., with refreshments served at 6 p.m. and a free tour beginning at 6:30 p.m. All events will take place in the exhibition space located on the second floor of Branford House at UConn Avery Point.
