TREASURE ISLAND An All New Musical Comes to the Fulton TheatreThe historic Fulton Theatre is ready to set sail on Sept. 20, 2018 with a major new musical...TREASURE ISLAND. Based on the treasured classic by the Robert Louis Stevenson, this epic adventure eclipses the scale of the Fulton Theatre's recent productions of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Les Misérables, and Disney's Beauty and the Beast with expansive Broadway sets, a cast of 36 and a 17-piece orchestra bringing to life an exhilarating and majestic score! After more than a decade of development, Treasure Island is ready for the spotlight.

TREASURE ISLAND is co-written and directed by Marc Robin-who is celebrating 10 years as the Fulton's Artistic Director, and longtime collaborator and Maine State Music Theatre Artistic Director, Curt Dale Clark. Treasure Island features music by Marc Robin with orchestrations by David Siegel (Broadway/NY: Disney's Newsies, Disney's Aladdin, Dr. Zhivago, Bandwagon and the first revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying), lighting design by Paul Black and Colin Riebel, scenic design by Thomas M. Ryan, Costume Design by Ryan J. Moller, Wig and Makeup Designs by Anthony Lascoskie, Jr., Prop Designs by Katelin Walsko, Sound Designs by Jacob Mishler, music direction by Ray Fellman, and casting by Bob Cline.

The cast is led by Michael Nigro (NBC's Sound of Music LIVE) as Jim Hawkins and Jeremiah James (West End: Carousel, It Happened in Key West) as Long John Silver and features James Patterson (Broadway: Gigi, Beauty and the Beast, National Tours: Mary Poppins, Drowsy Chaperone) as Dr. David Livesey, Michael Iannucci (Broadway: Fiddler on the Roof) as Squire John Trelawney, James Michael Reilly (International Tour: West Side Story) and David Girolmo (Broadway: War Paint) as Captain Alexander Smollett.

Young Jim Hawkins is left orphaned and inherits a coveted treasure map that any swashbuckler would kill for, including the feared and unpredictable Long John Silver. Left in the care of Dr. Livesey and his squadron, Jim's naïveté could spell the end for them all! Before the sails are hoisted, Silver's band of pirates covertly invade the ship, falsely portraying cooks and other crewmen and are determined, at any cost, to seize the gold!
