Producers Aaron Grant, Jana Robbins & Jeremy Handelman have announced that SCOTT PATTERSON has been cast in the lead role of Joe White in WHITE'S LIES, a new comedy by Ben Andron & directed by Bob Cline, which is scheduled to open on April 12, 2010, at New World Stages. Grant, who produced the staged reading in September, 2009, is thrilled to have the former star of "Gilmore Girls" on board as Joe White. Mr. Patterson joins a cast that already includes Peter Scolari, Christy Carlson Romano & Jimmy Ray Bennett.

Two-time Tony Award winner James Naughton and Academy Award winner Joanne Woodward have joined the cast of "A Holiday Garland" at Westport Country Playhouse (Joanne Woodward and Anne Keefe, artistic directors, Jodi Schoenbrun Carter, managing director). Staged December 13 - 21, the production will feature holiday songs, funny stories, poignant readings, jokes and poems compiled to celebrate the season and enchant the family. The new production of Lerner and Loewe's BRIGADOON, directed and
choreographed by Rob Ashford and scheduled to play in Boston this fall,
prior to a Broadway opening, has been postponed. The delay is due to
the lack of an appropriate Broadway theatre in Spring, 2009.
On June 30, 2008 the Michael Weller Theatre will close its doors for last time, as management of 311 West 43rd Street looks to offer more office space in Times Square.
A new production of BRIGADOON will have its world premiere at the Colonial Theatre (106 Boylston Street) in Boston this fall, prior to opening on Broadway in Spring, 2009 at a theatre to be announced. The production will play October 14-November 9, 2008 in Boston.
