Robert Kelly to Play Side Splitters Comedy Club, 9/6-8

Robert Kelly has been winning over audiences for the last 18 years. In addition to clubs and colleges nationwide, Kelly has traveled across the country in the 'Tourgasm Live' tour with Dane Cook and Gary Gulman. He is a regular on the Opie and Anthony radio show and has performed at the 'Just For Laughs Festival' in Montreal (2008 and 2010). He has also appeared at the South Beach Comedy Festival, HBO's Comedy Festival (Las Vegas), and the HBO US Comedy Arts Festival (Aspen 2007). In 2009, he performed for over 1 million people in 80 arenas across the country as a feature on Dane Cook's, 'Isolated Incident Tour.'

LEAP OF FAITH's Jessica Phillips Cast in FX's BRONX WARRANTS Pilot

According to the New York Post, Leap of Faith's Jessica Phillips will co-star alongside Josh Segarra and comedian Godfrey in the FX sitcom pilot 'Bronx Warrants.' Phillips will play Adele, wife to DeStefano, who will be played by Robert Kelly. The role will be her TV debut.

FX Renews LOUIS, Extends BRANDX WITH RUSSELL BRAND

FX president John Landgraf kicked off the network's executive session at the TCA Summer Press Tour with a slew of announcements, including a fourth season of LOUIS and seven additional episodes of BRANDX WITH RUSSELL BRAND.

Godfrey to Star in FX Comedy Series Pilot BRONX WARRANTS

FX has announced the casting of Robert Kelly (NYC 22), stand-up comedian Godfrey (Louie), Josh Segarra (Homeland) and Shirley Rumierk (White Collar) for its latest half-hour comedy pilot BRONX WARRANTS. Emmy(R)-nominated director Scott Ellis (30 Rock) will direct the pilot, which begins production in mid-August in New York.

TV: Davis Gaines, Lesli Margherita & Company Reflect on MAN OF LA MANCHA at Musical Theatre West

For the past several weeks, Broadway's Davis Gaines has took to the stage as Don Quixote in the Musical Theatre West production of Man of La Mancha at the Richard and Karen Carpenter Center for the Performing Arts. Having received rave notices since its February 10 opening of a fourteen performance run, BWW TV's Los Angeles Correspondents Michael Sterling and Jerry Evans visited Gaines and company to reflect on the run as it prepares for closing on Sunday, February 26. Photo Flash: Musical Theatre West Presents Davis Gaines in MAN OF LA MANCHA

MAN OF LA MANCHA, opened on Broadway in 1965. This Tony Award Winner for Best Musical features one of Broadway's great standards, 'The Impossible Dream,' and takes place during the height of the Spanish Inquisition. While awaiting a hearing with the Inquisition, Miguel de Cervantes presents a play as his defense in a mock trial for the prisoners. In it, he plays Alonso Quijana, a man who has set his own reality aside and becomes Don Quixote De La Mancha. Assisted by Sancho Panza, Quixote attempts to avoid his mortal enemy, the Enchanter, and woo the serving wench and prostitute, Aldonza, who he takes to be the Lady Dulcinea.
