The festival is a joint project of the Southern, McNally Smith College of Music, New Amsterdam Records, History Theatre, Minnesota Public Radio, Invisible Button Entertainment and the Walker Art Center.

The Hartt School continues its 2010-2011 Faculty Recital Series in the spring semester, with a range of concerts that includes both Hartt veterans as well as accomplished performers/educators who are new to Hartt's faculty. All faculty recitals are free and open to the public and take place at various locations on the University of Hartford campus, 200 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford.
