TIME Magazine's #1 Show of the Year, MATILDA THE MUSICAL, announced today the 2017 North American tour dates after a twice-extended six-month sit-down production in Toronto's Ed Mirvish Theatre, which concludes its highly successful run on January 7, 2017.

Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures, Langley Park Productions and Neal Street Productions, the producers of the new musical Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, announced today that two-time Tony Award winner Christian Borle (Willy Wonka) will be joined by a cast of 35 that includes Tony Award winner John Rubinstein as Grandpa Joe (Pippin), Emily Padgett as Mrs. Bucket (Side Show), Kathy Fitzgerald as Mrs. Gloop (9 to 5), F. Michael Haynie as Augustus Gloop (Wicked), Ben Crawford as Mr. Salt (Shrek), Emma Pfaeffleas Veruca Salt (Finding Neverland), Alan H. Institute presents James and the Giant Peach, adapted for the stage by David Wood from the book by Roald Dahl, directed by A.R.T. Institute alumnus Dmitry Troyanovsky, featuring actors from the A.R.T. Institute Class of 2017.

The National Endowment for the Arts on Tuesday awarded a grant to Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma to assist with educational programming for its spring production of JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH. The grant was one of four issued to Oklahoma-based arts organizations.
