Photo Flash: See the Magic of Roald Dahl's WILLY WONKA at NextStop Theatre

By:

Each holiday season, NextStop Theatre Company produces a community outreach show featuring a cast of local students who are given the opportunity to work alongside actors, directors, and designers from NextStop's professional company. A first look at photos from this year's production of Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka, which opened December 2, 2016, is now available. Check them out below!

The cast includes 24 local students plus NextStop veteran performers John Loughney in the title role of Willy Wonka, Jaclyn Young as Phinneas Trout/Mrs. Bucket, and Matt Baughman as The Candyman/Mr. Bucket.

The delicious adventures experienced by Charlie Bucket on his visit to Willy Wonka's mysterious chocolate factory light up the stage in this captivating adaptation of Roald Dahl's fantastical tale.

Featuring the enchanting songs from the 1971 film starring Gene Wilder, and new songs by Leslie Bricusse (Jekyll & Hyde, Doctor Dolittle) and Anthony Newley, Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka is a scrumdidilyumptious musical guaranteed to delight everyone's sweet tooth.

NextStop Theatre Company in Herndon Virginia presents the family musical through December 18, 2016. Tickets may be purchased online, by phone through OvationTix at 866-811-4111, or at the door if available. General Admission tickets start at $25.

NextStop Theatre is located at 269 Sunset Park Drive in Herndon, Virginia, moments away from Reston Town Center, Dulles Airport, and Historic Downtown Herndon.
