ZACH Theatre, Central Texas' premier professional theatre, announces a 2018-19 season filled with rafter-raising musicals, riveting contemporary dramas, and inventively produced new work that will entertain, inspire, and spark dialogue. ZACH is expanding its' commitment to incubate and produce new musicals and plays this season and in the coming years, in addition to premiering award-winning contemporary plays and musicals straight from New York. ZACH's involvement in the development of major new works allows Central Texans to witness exciting projects before they hit Broadway stages and launch at theatres across the nation.

The Ziegfeld Club, one of the first New York City performing arts charities to benefit women, is thrilled to announce that the third Liz Swados Inspiration Grant is now open to applicants. Created in 2016 and underwritten by actress Diane Lane, The Liz Swados Inspiration Grant serves to honor an influential female music educator in New York City through a $5,000.00 cash grant.

The Tiger Who Came to Tea today announces its return to the West End this summer for a very special season celebrating its 10th anniversary on stage and 50 years of Britain's best-loved picture book. This truly magical Olivier Award nominated production will open at the Piccadilly Theatre on Thursday 28 June, playing until Sunday 9 September 2018. Tickets are now on sale.

Last night Tim Minchin paid a visit to Leicester Curve to watch Matilda: The Musical. Tim, who composed original songs for the musical, went to support the musical as it heads on its UK tour. After the show he enjoyed drinks with the cast and crew.

Broadway In Chicago is delighted to announce their annual FREE BROADWAY IN CHICAGO SUMMER CONCERT, sponsored by ABC 7 Chicago and hosted by Janet Davies, ABC 7 Chicago's entertainment reporter and host of the entertainment and lifestyle program 190 NORTH on ABC 7. The concert will take place on Monday, August 13, 2018 at 6:15 p.m. at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion at Millennium Park (201 E. Randolph St). The Broadway In Chicago Summer Concert at Millennium Park is presented with the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events. This year, there will be preview performances from DEAR EVAN HANSEN, HEARTBREAK HOTEL, ROALD DAHL'S CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY and MISS SAIGON. More performances will be announced closer to the event.

Broadway In Boston, Boston's mainstage for Broadway, has unveiled the upcoming 2018-2019 Lexus Broadway Season during its annual spring announcement event at the Boston Opera House.  Eleven theatrical productions will take center stage at the Boston Opera House and the Emerson Colonial Theatre.  Over 1500 people from around the city gathered for the annual celebration including Broadway In Boston's Season ticket holders, group leaders, arts and business leaders, city officials, partners from around the city, sponsors and the Boston media.  Highlights from the day included live performances from cast members of DEAR EVAN HANSEN, ROALD DAHL'S CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, SCHOOL OF ROCK and A BRONX TALE.  

Children's Theatre Company (CTC) together with The Old Globe (San Diego) in partnership with The Old Vic (London) today announced details for the Minneapolis and San Diego productions of Dr. Seuss's The Lorax, based on the book The Lorax by Dr. Seuss.

A season of Tony Award-winning Broadway hits - Center premieres and returning favorites - await audiences during Segerstrom Center for the Arts' 2018-2019 Broadway and Curtain Call Series, plus a special Bonus Offer. Berkeley Playhouse continues their tenth anniversary season of professional theater for family audiences with the East Bay premiere of the newly enhanced theatrical telling of Roald Dahl's James and the Giant Peach, featuring new songs from the Oscar® and Tony Award-winning team of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul (Broadway: Dear Evan Hansen, Film: The Greatest Showman, La La Land),  and book by award-winning playwright Timothy Allen McDonald (Jim Henson's Emmet Otter, Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka, The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley).

Roald Dahl's treasured tale is now Australia's Golden Ticket! It was announced today that theatre producers John Frost, Craig Donnell, Warner Bros. Theatre Ventures, Langley Park Productions and Neal Street Productions will be bringing the spectacular new musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory to Sydney's Capitol Theatre in January 2019.

The Calvary Murrieta Christian School Drama Department is proud to present their Spring Musical, JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH, JR., directed by Chelsea and Daniel Lybeck and choreographed by Chelsea Lapp and Jamie Gallagher. The production will debut April 19 at 7 PM with additional performances on April 20, 21, 26, 27, and 28 at the same time. All performances are in the school's sanctuary at the upper campus.
