Saks Announces Details for 'Unforgettable Evening' Benefit

This year's “Saks Fifth Avenue's Unforgettable Evening,” which benefits the Entertainment Industry Foundation's Women's Cancer Research Fund, is set for May 2 at the Beverly Wilshire hotel in Beverly Hills. Chelsea Handler will be this year's hostess and the event features Grammy Award-winner Kylie Minogue accepting the 2013 Courage Award for her fight against breast cancer and awareness-raising for the disease, Carolina Herrera will accept the Nat King Cole Award for her charitable works and contributions to the organization and Bruno Mars is scheduled to finish off the event with a performance.

Joining Tuesday nights' popular "Backstage" with Susie Mosher will be the "54 Piano Bar," a new vocal competition - 'The Callback," Joe Iconis & Family, actress/producer/singer Rita Wilson, legendary powerhouse voice Lachanze, Broadway's Ken Page and Carmel Dean, and more.

Rita Wilson's recent appearance at 54 Below, she revealed her expressive, denim-and-suede vocals in a nostalgic throwback to the soft rock of Los Angeles. Wilson performed songs from her critically acclaimed debut Decca Records solo album, AM/FM, featuring iconic hits from the 60s and 70s, ranging from classic love songs to folk-rock tunes.
