YouTube announced today the first-ever YouTube Comedy Week, a special event from May 19 through May 25, that will showcase the best of comedy with live events, video premieres and creative collaborations from the world's funniest people.
IFC today announced it is developing 11 new comedy projects for 2014 series consideration. Among them, the network has ordered three pilots and eight scripts, in line with the network's 'slightly off' sensibility that attracts a male skewing, adults 18-49 audience.

Sundance Institute announced today the films selected to screen in the 2013 Sundance Film Festival out-of-competition sections Spotlight, Park City at Midnight and New Frontier, as well as the installations and performances to be featured in the Festival's New Frontier venue. The Festival takes place January 17-27 in Park City, Salt Lake City, Ogden and Sundance, Utah.
