Southern Rep will host an OPEN CALL for actors Saturday, June 4, 2011 between 10:00 pm-3:00 pm. Attending will be local theatre companies and independent producers (see full list below).

Jefferson Performing Arts Society (JPAS) is thrilled to be working with New Orleans theatre mega-talents Gary Rucker and Kelly Fouchi of Theatre 13 in the upcoming 34th Season 2011-2012. These two local theatre regulars join JPAS as director and choreographer (respectively) for a co-production of THE DROWSY CHAPERONE in September of 2011. Rucker and Fouchi have graced the JPAS stages in past productions and JPAS is ecstatic to have these two on the production side for the 34th Season. JPAS looks forward to announcing their full season with production teams in early Spring. In Tandem Theatre is pleased to announce the return of the smash hit musical comedy, Scrooge In Rouge by Ricky Graham and Jefferson Turner to the Tenth Street Theatre, 628 N. 10th Street, Milwaukee. The show runs December 3 - 31, 2010 after a sold out run last season. The original cast returns featuring Chris Flieller (Tandem Theatre's Artistic Director and Stasch from A Cudahy Caroler Christmas), Matt Daniels (Milwaukee Shakespeare Company, Illinois and North Carolina Shakespeare Festivals, and Off Broadway West in California) and Marcy Kearns (Milwaukee Shakespeare Company, Milwaukee Repertory Theater and Theatre South Carolina).

ZOMBIE TOWN: A DOCUMENTARY PLAY by Tim Bauer directed by Southern Rep Associate Artistic Director, Mark Routhier, marks the first Southern Rep@Le Chat Noir production.

Zombie Town: A Documentary Play by Tim Bauer directed by Southern Rep Associate Artistic Director, Mark Routhier, marks the first Southern Rep@Le Chat Noir production. This mock-umentary play tells the story of a San Francisco theatre collective that travels to Harwood, Texas, the site of a disturbing and devastating zombie attack, to interview the surviving citizens. This is the true recounting of that terrible invasion compiled from those interviews.
