Rivendell Theatre Ensemble (RTE), Chicago's only Equity theatre devoted to the work of women theatre artists, is proud to announce Stefanie Zadravec's The Electric Baby as the third and final production of its 2012-2013 Season of Reinvention. RTE Artistic Director and founder Tara Mallen directs the Chicago premiere, May 16 through June 22 at the new Rivendell Theatre, 5779 N. Ridge.

The Echo Theater Company is proud to announce its fourth annual ECHO ONE ACT FESTIVAL featuring original commissioned one-acts by some of the nation's top playwrights. THE ECHO ONE ACTS 2009 will open on Friday, January 16 at 8:00pm and run Fri-Sun for five weeks closing Sunday, February 15 at Stage 52, 5299 W. Washington Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90016.

Producers Emily Miller and New York Theatre Barn have announced that Tony Award-Winner Cady Huffman (The Producers, The Will Rogers Follies) will star in WOOD, which is an official selection of the upcoming 2008 New York Musical Theatre Festival.

The Interart Theatre Development Series will present BRIDGE OVER LAND, a play by Gilbert Girion, directed by the author. Performances will be at the Interart Theatre Annex, 500 W 52nd Street. Performances will begin on Friday, April 18th, continuing through Saturday, May 10th.

The Intentional Theatre Group, in association with Small Pond Entertainment, presents Archipelago, 10 short one-person plays directed by The It Group's Founding Artistic Director, Emerie Snyder. The production will open at Altered Stages (212 West 29th Street between 7th & 8th Ave) on November 8 at 8PM.

THE INTERART DEVELOPMENT SERIES, in collaboration with ZENA GROUP THEATER, present a workshop production of a new play by Josh Liveright entitled ILLUMINATION ROUNDS. The play will receive nine performances - Thursdays through Saturdays for three weeks beginning THURSDAY, DECEMBER 2 and closing on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 18 at 8:00PM at the INTERART ANNEX (500 West 52nd Street at the corner of 52nd Street and 10th Avenue in Hell's Kitchen).
