Guirgis. This class, featuring such guest instructors as John Patrick Shanley, Eric Bogosian, and Rueben Santiago-Hudson, was part of the impetus to form InViolet Rep. As an actor, Michael has worked extensively on stage in New York and Atlanta, and he wrote, produced, and stars in the short film "Inheritance" which will be playing at film festivals around the world in 2011 and 2012. This is his first play.

InViolet Repertory Theater was founded in 2008 by an assembly of actors committed to diversifying their talents into writing, directing, and producing. The company is under the Artistic Direction of Michael Henry Harris and Angela Razzano. Their inaugural production was Richard Etchison's Force Majeure at Abingdon Theater in 2008,
followed by a critically acclaimed production of Melanie Maras' Kiss Me on the Mouth, directed by Stephen Adly Guirgis, in November 2009.

40 WEEKS runs February 22 - March 12, Wednesday - Saturday at 7:30 pm. The 4th Street Theatre is located at 83 East 4th Street (between 2nd Avenue and Bowery, accessible from the F train at 2nd Ave.) Tickets are $18, available at 212-352-3101 or www.InVioletRep.com.
