FX is headed for the border, placing a 13-episode order for THE BRIDGE, a new drama series from Writer/Producers Meredith Stiehm and Elwood Reid starring Academy Award Nominee Demian Bichir and Diane Kruger,

Academy Award(R) nominee Demián Bichir has reached an agreement to play the male lead in the FX drama series pilot, The Bridge, which begins production next month.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Tony nominee Jude Law is set to star in Richard Shepard's upcoming black comedy DOM HEMINGWAY. The actor will join Richard E. Grant on the project which is written and directed by Shepard.

Bruce Adler died early this morning, July 25th 2008 of cancer he had been battling for several years. He was sixty-three years old.
