We've all got a little excited recently about the new British musical theatre composers edging through into the mainstream, with Stiles and Drewe's Betty Blue Eyes reaching the West End last year, and Grant Olding, Michael Bruce and Dougal Irvine all getting tons of critical acclaim. BWW:UK's own Robert Gould is the book writer and lyricist for new show My Land's Shore, which is about to have its cast recording released.

Encore will be premiering a new documentary on show-biz legend Jerry Lewis entitled, 'JERRY LEWIS: Method To The Madness on Saturday, December 17th. Appearing in the special will be a star-studded cast of comedians including Eddie Murphy, Alec Baldwin , Jerry Seinfeld, Chevy Chase, Carl Reiner, Quentin Tarantino, Carol Burnett, Richard Belzer, John Landis and Richard Lewis.

Her first stage tour, Peppa Pig's Party, was one of the top-selling children's theatre shows in 2010 and 2011. Now hot on its heels comes a second stage production, Peppa Pig's Treasure Hunt that sets out on the road from 13 October this autumn with tour dates through until July 2012. This brand new show will have a West End Christmas season at the Criterion Theatre (1 December 2011 - 1 January 2012), following the sell-out success of last year's seasonal run there.

The Sacramento premiere of MARY POPPINS opens Friday, June 3 at 8:00 p.m. at the Community Center Theater for a limited engagement of three weeks through Sunday, June 19, 2011. MARY POPPINS plays Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m., with an additional performance on Sunday, June 5 at 7:30 p.m. 'Thus far sales have exceeded our expectations, but there are still great seats available' said Richard Lewis, executive producer of California Musical Theatre.
