The Harold Prince production of Leonard Bernstein's Candide returns to the repertoire of New York City Opera on Tuesday, April 8, 2008. Daniel Reichard will sing the title role in all 14 performances. Joining him is Richard Kind, Lauren Worsham and Lielle Berman with Judith Blazer.

'Broadway Backwards 3', the gender-bending concert of show tune favorites benefiting the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual & Transgender Community Center, on Monday February 4 at 8PM, is nearly sold-out. The Stephen Sondheim Center for the Performing Arts has released tickets for the inaugural Winter/Spring 2008 Season. A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, winner of 15 awards including the Tony for Best Musical, will open the season January 11 - 27. Television and Broadway star Richard Kind will perform the starring role of Pseudolus.
