The Albuquerque Theatre Guild is pleased to announce that it has received two grants to promote its mission of raising public awareness of theatre in the greater Albuquerque area, encouraging the growth of theatre audiences, fostering cooperation and collaboration among the member organizations, and facilitating and assisting the work of individual members involved in all aspects of theatrical production.

After announcing this morning that he will return to the Royal Shakespeare Company this summer, Patrick Stewart has also announced that he will be returning to the Young Vic next year. The Menier Chocolate Factory's production of the Tony award-winning musical, Sweet Charity, which transferred to the West End in April 2010, will complete its run on 06 November 2010. Matthew White's critically acclaimed production, which originally opened at the Chocolate Factory in November last year, has a cast led by Tamzin Outhwaite, Mark Umbers, Josefina Gabrielle, Tiffany Graves and Paul J Medford.
