According to the New York Times, following his stint as Oscar co-host this Sunday, Alec Baldwin will be heading back to the east coast to star as the psychiatrist Martin Dysart in Peter Shaffer's Equus this summer at Guild Hall in East Hampton, N.Y. The UK Daily Mail is reporting that Alan Bennett's The Habit of Art is hoping to move to Broadway in the Spring of 2011. The production began playing at the National Theatre's Lyttleton Theater in November 5, 2009 and will be broadcast in April 2010 live to cinema screens worldwide. It's expected that the leads, Richard Griffiths, Alex Jennings and Frances de la Tour would accompany the production as well.

As previously announced, the cast will include Tara Fitzgerald, Keira Knightley, Damian Lewis, Tim McMullan, and Dominic Rowan. Joining the cast will be Chuk Iwuji, Kelly Price, and Nicholas Le Prevost. Directed by Thea Sharrock, the play opens at the Comedy Theatre on December 17.
