Distributed by Naxos of America, this all-Rachmaninov release features Music Director Robert Spano leading the Orchestra in Piano Concerto No. 3 with Garrick Ohlsson, a frequent guest and friend of the Orchestra - this release marks Mr. Ohlsson's first-ever recording of the concerto. Also on the recording is Symphonic Dances, a signature Robert Spano/Atlanta Symphony collaboration, as Mr. Spano has led the work on tour, as well as repeatedly in Atlanta with the Orchestra.

American Conservatory Theater is excited to announce the 11 winners of the fourth Mamet writing contest, held in conjunction with A.C.T.'s West Coast premiere production of David Mamet's November-extended by popular demand through November 22. A.C.T. received 45 entries from all around California, as well as Texas, Chicago, and New York.
