Actor's Express and Artistic Director Freddie Ashley are excited to invite the press to the opening of The Rocky Horror Show, by Richard O'Brien, directed by Freddie Ashley, and featuring some of Atlanta's top notch musical theatre stars. Music direction is by Seth Davis, choreography is by Ricardo Aponte. The production opens Saturday night, July 12, 2014, 8pm curtain. Preview performances are July 10 and 11, and the ever-popular pay-what-you-want sneak peek, "Director's Rough Cut", is Wednesday, July 9.

Aurora Theatre continues the 2013-2014 Harvel Lab Series with a Teatro del Sol production, Mariela in the Desert by Karen Zacarias. It is 1950 and artists Mariela and Jose are living an isolated existence in the desert of Northern Mexico, haunted by the ghost of their young son. Jose is very ill and Mariela sends a telegram to their daughter encouraging her to come home. Where once the walls were beautifully decorated, now only one painting remains, and it is shrouded in mystery. This play will be performed in Spanish with English supertitles. This production features an amazing cast including the stunning Blanca Aguero in the title role of Mariela and Aurora Theatre Producing Artistic Director Anthony P. Georgia Ensemble Theatre (GET) has announced the national release of the CD Cast Recording of Glimpses of the Moon featuring the cast and musicians from the Theatre's 2011 production. The release is being celebrated with a private party on Saturday, October 27th.
