A digital performance installation premiering at The Metropolitan Museum of Art this July will combine innovative animation technology with live performance to investigate dynamically the long restoration of Tullio Lombardo's shattered sculptural masterpiece Adam (ca. 1490-95). The Return, created by director and new media artist Reid Farrington, will offer a startling new experience for Met visitors through its pioneering use of interactive digital theater.

HERE announces its 2015-2016 producing season, featuring three HERE Resident Artist productions, an Artistic Director production, the fourth annual PROTOTYPE: Opera/Theatre/Now festival and HERE's yearly CULTUREMART festival, which gives audiences a first look at new work in process from artists in the HERE Artist Residency Program (HARP).  The multidisciplinary works in HERE's 2015-2016 season represent the culmination of commissions and developmental residencies of up to three years through HARP, and/or the Dream Music Puppetry Program.

Over the past three seasons, The Metropolitan Museum of Art has seen some of the most intriguing and unexpected performance offerings around— often inviting audiences to engage with their surroundings as well as the performances. Leading with curiosity and innovation, the 2015-2016 season of Met Museum Presents continues this line of inquiry featuring a roster of powerful performances, new commissions, and fearless artists, all taking the Metropolitan Museum as a starting point.

The OBIE-winning HERE proudly presents CULTUREMART 2015, taking place tonight, March 4, through March 14.

The Metropolitan Museum of Art's marble sculpture Adam by Tullio Lombardo (ca. 1455–1532) will return to public view on November 11, 2014-July 2015, following a tragic accident in 2002 and an unprecedented 12-year conservation project. It is the first life-sized nude marble statue since antiquity and the most important Italian Renaissance sculpture in North America. Tullio carved Adam in the early 1490s for the monumental tomb of doge Andrea Vendramin, now in the church of Santi Giovanni e Paolo, Venice, and it is the only signed sculpture from that iconic monument.

Jay Duffer, John Forkner, Alexandra Lawrence, Brandon Murphy and Scott Zenreich will star in this comedy, running today, July 10 through Sunday, August 10 at Amphibian's Berlene T. & Jarrell R. Milburn Theatre at 120 S. Main Street. David A. Miller will direct the production.

The LakeArts Foundation will present the World Premiere of TROPHIES, a unique collaborative performance piece that blends sculptural masks by Roland Gebhardt, choreography by Mercedes and music by Moondog, performed live by HalfMoon Consort, under the direction of Louis Nicolia. It will be performed tonight, June 26 at Jack Hanley Gallery.

Sara Farrington's NEAR VICKSBURG will run today, March 6-16, 2014 at Incubator Arts.
