The Public Theater will begin performances on Wednesday, January 6 for UNDER THE RADAR 2010, running through January 17 at The Public Theater as well as partner venues.

14 Companies boasting over 100 artists and collaborators, and spanning theatre, dance, multi-media, gothic storytelling, live art, cinema, glove puppetry, not to mention an interactive self-help focus group will take part in this year's COIL festival at Performance Space 122.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson), Producer Mark Russell and the Association of Performing Arts Presenters (Executive Producer) announced the largest and most expansive line-up for UNDER THE RADAR 2010, running January 6-17 at The Public Theater as well as partner venues. Conceived by Roland Gebhardt, this unique theatrical experience animates 80 geometric masks by Gebhart with choreography by Peter Kyle, video design by Reid Farrington, and music by Stephen Barber. Opening night is slated for December 3.

3-Legged Dog (3LD), a leading experimental arts group, has been awarded $400,000 from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and another $200,000 from the Rockefeller Foundation's New York City Cultural Innovation Fund.

The Passion Project is a vibrant archival film experiment spun from the reels of the last great silent film, Carl Th. Dreyer's 1928 immortal masterpiece, 'The Passion of Joan of Arc.'
