TVGuide reports that former LIVE! host Regis Philbin has signed on to be a recurring 'special guest' on THE RACHEL RAY SHOW. 'I can't tell you how excited I am that Regis will be a recurring special guest on our show this season,' Ray said in a statement. 'Regis has been a close friend of the show and a close friend of mine for years and it'll be a blast having him on the team.'

According to USA Today, Michael Strahan is currently in talks to be the next co-host of LIVE!, sitting beside the show's current host Kelly Ripa. Strahan, a former Giants football star, currently hosts 'Fox NFL Sunday.' The news was first reported in the trade journal Broadcasting & Cable. A spokeswoman for 'Live!' declined to comment.
