On Tuesday, February 5, 2013, students in the Great Neck Arts Center's special needs 'Dinner, Music & Art' class enjoyed a treat--a screening of the 2007 movie 'Hairspray', followed by a surprise visit from the star of the film, Great Neck's own Nikki Blonsky. The visit and the film screening were arranged by the Arts Center's special needs teacher, Brooke Greiff. Check out the photos below!

The Great Neck Arts Center held their Gala 2012 at the Historic Oheka Castle last night. In 2013 the Center will be marking it's 20th anniversary in Nassau County. It serves a large population of children, teens and adults from a wide geographic region that includes NYC boroughs and Suffolk County.

Actors Bill Connington, Juliette Bennett, and Anthony Haden-Guest, stars of the short film THE THORNHILLS OF PARK AVENUE, attended 'Isabella Rossellini: An Evening of Screenings and Conversation' on May 9 at the NYIT Theater, directly across from Lincoln Center, on Manhattan's Upper West Side. It was a special pre-festival event of the Gold Coast International Film Festival.
