Here's a chance to finally see some of Sydney's new production of My Fair Lady, directed by none other than the iconic Julie Andrews.

Lerner & Loewe's My Fair Lady, directed by Julie Andrews, just started performances at the Joan Sutherland Theatre at Sydney Opera house, and will travel for seasons in Brisbane and Melbourne following its time in Sydney. BroadwayWorld has a sneak peek at the company in rehearsal below!

Australia's MY FAIR LADY, directed by Julie Andrews, stars British performer Alex Jennings, as Professor Higgins and the young Australian star, Anna O'Byrne, as Eliza Doolittle. The production begins performances tonight 30 August at Sydney Opera House, followed by a gala opening night on 6 September.

?Adelaide Festival Centre has announced that it will build a Hollywood-style Walk of Fame, as part of the Festival Centre redevelopment project that will commence in 2016.

The Sydney's Theatre community gathered at the 2014 SYDNEY THEATRE AWARDS tonight for the 10th annual celebration of the best of the past year's work as judged by The Sydney Reviewers.

At a star-studded ceremony tonight, the winners of the 2014 Sydney Theatre Awards were announced, with a record 33 Awards presented. Over 340 members of the Sydney theatre community packed the auditorium at Paddington RSL to celebrate the best of Sydney theatre throughout the past calendar year.

Nominations were announced today for the Sydney Theatre Awards for 2014, which will be presented at a gala ceremony on Monday January 19, 2015 at 6pm at the Paddington RSL.

WICKED has returned to Sydney and the audience can't get enough of this spellbinding and critically acclaimed musical. The 14th Annual Helpmann Awards were presented live from Sydney's Capitol Theatre and broadcast on Foxtel's Arena. Host Jonathan Biggins was joined by some of Australia's most talented performers and industry leaders to announce this year's winners while recognising the distinguished artistic achievement and excellence across the major disciplines of Australia's live performance industry.

The Helpmann Awards, which has recognised the achievements in live performance in Australia since 2001, is the Australian industry's equivalent of the Tony Awards and the Olivier Awards.
