It features music and lyrics by 22-time Grammy Award-winners Bono and The Edge, direction by Philip William McKinley (The Boy From Oz), and a book co-written by Julie Taymor, Glen Berger(Underneath The Lintel) and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (Fantastic Four and Spider-Man comics, 'Big Love'). Just yesterday, Reeve Carney and the ensemble Spider-Men signed copies of their 2013-2014 Calendar in the lobby of the Foxwoods Theatre. Broadway's SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark has announced the Foxwoods Theatre as a New York Cares Coat Drive public collection site. From November 15 - December 31, 2012 patrons can drop off coats outside the box office at 213 West 42nd Street between 10:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m., and during show hours on performance days.

Jake Epstein, best known as the star of the hugely popular teen series "Degrassi: The Next Generation," will make his Broadway debut as the Peter Parker / Spider-Man Alternate in Broadway's SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark. Epstein will play Saturday and Sunday matinee performances beginning on December 8, 2012 at the Foxwoods Theatre (213 West 42nd Street).

SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, the record-breaking Broadway spectacular, held a Halloween safety press conference earlier today at the Foxwoods Theatre. Hosted by Spider-Man (Reeve Carney) and the Green Goblin (Robert Cuccioli), also in attendance were members of the "Sinister Six" and two members of New York's Finest. Spider-Man outlined the NYPD's official Halloween Safety Recommendations to remind parents and guardians of trick-or-treaters ways to help ensure a safe Halloween experience.
