The Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival (NDSF) announced an expanded 2015 'Beyond the Stage' series today. Featuring backstage access and conversations with Festival artists, NDSF's 'Beyond the Stage' events offer guests a behind-the-scenes look at the 2015 titles before they see the performances.

The Notre Dame Shakespeare Festival today announced a special addition to its 2015 season. Offering a three-night-only run of performances in early March, NDSF will present Romeo and Juliet tied to its 2015 theme: "Love, Loss, and Laughter." Professional actors will perform a 75-minute version of Shakespeare's famous love story while incorporating live acoustic music. Performances will beMarch 5, 6, and 7 at 7:00pm in Notre Dame's Philbin Studio Theatre.

The Reduced Shakespeare Company finally tackles the subject of comedy, condensing the complete history (abridged) into a concise two-hour package that doesn't miss a trick. From cavemen to clowns, shtick to Stooges, and Seinfeld to the Supreme Court, there's something for everyone in the myriad sketches offered up by this trio of talented comedians. With the exception of the mention of a few of George Carlin's infamous seven words, THE COMPLETE HISTORY OF COMEDY (ABRIDGED) at Merrimack Repertory Theatre is good family entertainment and the kids might even learn to appreciate the pioneers of the art form.

Wareham invite you to take 83 books, with three chameleon-like actors in 98 minutes, and mix it all up into one hilarious evening of ridiculous fun! It's the Reduced Shakespeare Company's production of ALL THE GREAT BOOKS (abridged), written and directed by Reed Martin and Austin Tichenor with additional material by Matthew Croke and Michael Faulkner. ALL THE GREAT BOOKS (abridged) will begin previews today, March 4 and will open on Saturday, March 8 at 7:30pm and run through Sunday, March 30, 2014 at the LagunaPlayhouse, 606 Laguna Canyon Road in Laguna Beach.
