Joss Whedon's MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING to Hit Select Theaters, June 7

According to Deadline.com, Joss Whedon's film MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING will get a limited June 7th release via Roadside Attractions and Lionsgate, followed by a wider release on June 21, 2013. The movie premiered this fall at the Toronto International Film Festival.

TNT Orders Third Season of FRANKLIN & BASH

TNT has ordered the hit legal series Franklin & Bash back to court for a third season. Starring Breckin Meyer and Mark-Paul Gosselaar, Franklin & Bash averaged 4.3 million viewers in its new Tuesday 10 p.m. (ET/PT) timeslot, up 10% over its first season. The buddy drama also averaged 1.8 million adults 18-49 and 2.0 million adults 25-54.

Director Joss Whedon's adaptation of MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING will make its premiere on the festival circuit at this year's Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF). A modern version of Shakespeare's classic comedy, the movie was filmed in just 12 days entirely on location in Santa Monica and features a combined cast of Shakespeare vets and others completely new to the form.

FRANKLIN & BASH is executive-produced by Jamie Tarses (TNT's HawthoRNe, TBS's My Boys), Kevin Falls (Shark, The West Wing) and Bill Chais (Shark, Dirty Sexy Money). Falls and Chais wrote the pilot.
