Harvey Fierstein's new Broadway play CASA VALENTINA may be heading to the big screen.

Manhattan Theatre Club, by special arrangement with Colin Callender, Robert Cole, Frederick Zollo and The Shubert Organization, has announced an extension for CASA VALENTINA, the hit world premiere play by four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello. An additional two weeks have been added to the critically acclaimed limited engagement, with tickets now on sale through Sunday, June 29 at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street).

Nominations for the 2014 Annual Drama Desk Awards were announced last month at 54 Below, and earlier this week, the honorees appeared at the 2014 Drama Desk Nominees Reception. Below, BroadwayWorld brings you a collection of candids of the stars at the big event!

Peter Maloney and Mare Winningham are the recipients of the annual Richard Seff Award presented by the Actors' Equity Foundation to a veteran male and female character actor for the best performance in a supporting role in a Broadway or Off-Broadway production. The announcement was made by Arne Gundersen, president of the Foundation, which administers the award.

Paramount Hotel just hosted the Meet the Nominees Press Reception for the 2014 Tony Award nominees today, April 30th . Eligibility and award category designations for the productions under consideration this season were determined by the Drama Desk board of directors with recommendations from the nominating committee. Because of the abundance of great work throughout the season, the Board also authorized the increase in the number of nominees allowed in select categories.
