Atlantic Theater Company (Neil Pepe, Artistic Director; Jeffory Lawson, Managing Director) will present the world premiere of I'm Gonna Pray For You So Hard by Halley Feiffer, directed by Trip Cullman and starring Reed Birney andBetty Gilpin.

PAGE 73 has announced the complete casting and design team for the world premiere of YOU GOT OLDER, a new play by 2014 P73 Playwriting Fellow Clare Barron.

As I was reading The O'Neill: The Transformation of Modern American Theater by Jeffrey Sweet and walking through Launchpad of the American Theater: The O'Neill Since 1964, a 50th anniversary exhibit at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, it became clear to me that the ideas, principles, and people that have shaped the O'Neill and the National Theater Institute are still so very evident and become a part of every student who studies with NTI.

Academy, Emmy and TONY Award winner Ellen Burstyn (Picnic, 'Requiem for a Dream'), TONY Award winner Jefferson Mays (A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder, I Am My Own Wife), TONY Award nominee Jessica Hecht (King Lear, A View from the Bridge), and New York favorites Tracee Chimo (Lips Together Teeth Apart, Bad Jews) and Steven Boyer (King Lear, Hand to God) have all been photographed for The Creative Faces Project. The weekly release of their individual entries will mark the project's official launch this fall. Current featured artists are listed below.

PAGE 73 has announced the world premiere of YOU GOT OLDER, a new play by 2014 P73 Playwriting Fellow Clare Barron. Directed by Obie Award-winner Anne Kauffman, YOU GOT OLDER will star Tony Award nominee Reed Birney and Brooke Bloom and begins previews on October 29, 2014 on the Mainstage at HERE (145 6th Avenue, New York, NY 10013-1548). YOU GOT OLDER's opening date is currently set for November 6, 2014 and runs through November 22, 2014.

Matthew-Lee Erlbach's new reading A NEIGHBOR IN THE AREA is being performed at the end of the month. Featuring Tony nominee Reed Birney, Heather Lind, Nick Westrate, Brad Bellamy, Charlotte Booker, and Devin Norik, the reading is being directed by Wes Grantom.

The Eugene O'Neill Theater Center announced today casting for the 2014 National Playwrights Conference. Under the leadership of Artistic Director Wendy C. Goldberg, who celebrates her 10th season leading the Conference in 2014, the Conference runs from July 2 to July 19, and will be instrumental in the development of six new plays.

Casa Valentina, the new play by four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello, closes today, June 29, 2014, after having played 79 performances. Below, BroadwayWorld takes you back through Casa Valentina's beginnings on Broadway!

CASA VALENTINA, the critically acclaimed world premiere play by four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello, begins the final week of its extended run Tuesday, June 24 at MTC's Samuel J. Friedman Theatre (261 West 47th Street). The production is presented by Manhattan Theatre Club (Lynne Meadow, Artistic Director; Barry Grove, Executive Producer), by special arrangement with Colin Callender, Robert Cole, Frederick Zollo and The Shubert Organization.

Back in May, the Manhattan Theatre Club, by special arrangement with Colin Callender, Robert Cole, Frederick Zollo and The Shubert Organization, announced an extension for Casa Valentina, the world premiere play by four-time Tony Award winner Harvey Fierstein, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Joe Mantello. An additional two weeks were added to the critically acclaimed limited engagement, through Sunday, June 29th and no more extensions are planned.

Directed by Evan T. Cummings, they will be joined by Deirdre O'Connell, who was seen recently in Circle Mirror Transformation, Lisa Joyce, whose credits include Red Light Winter, and Tobias Segal, who was seen in From Up Here at Manhattan Theatre Club. Golden Globe and Tony Award-winning actor Hugh Jackman returned last night to host THE 68TH ANNUAL TONY® AWARDS, broadcast live from Radio City Music Hall in New York City on the CBS Television Network.
