Daniel Evans' sell-out Sheffield Crucible production of Show Boat has transferred to the West End and is now in previews, with press night on Monday 25 April 2016.  Show Boat is booking at the New London Theatre to 7 January 2017.  BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

Malcolm Sinclair (Capt. Andy Hawks) and Chris Peluso (Gaylord Ravenal) will join original Sheffield cast members Gina Beck (Magnolia Hawks), Lucy Briers (Parthy Ann Hawks), Rebecca Trehearn (Julia La Verne), Emmanuel Kojo(Joe), Sandra Marvin (Queenie), Alex Young (Ellie May Chipley) and Danny Collins (Frank Schultz) in the West End cast of Daniel Evans' five star production of Show Boat.

SHOW BOAT will be sailing from Sheffield to London when the Crucible's hit production transfers to the West End this spring. The Daily Mail writes that stars Gina Beck, Emmanuel Kojo and Rebecca Trehearn will move with Daniel Evans' production of the classic musical from April 9 at the New London Theatre. Olivier nominee Michael Xavier, who played 'Gaylord Ravenal' in the original production, will not reprise his role, as he will be starring opposite Glenn Close in SUNSET BOULEVARD at the London Coliseum. The trio of leading stars announced for the third in the intimate West End Switched Off concert series are Evelyn Hoskins (Sound of Music Live, Carrie, Spring Awakening), Tyrone Huntley (Memphis, The Book of Mormon, Sister Act), and Jodie Steele (Jesus Christ Superstar, Fame).

Sheffield Theatres' Artistic Director Daniel Evans today announces, due to popular demand, a one-week extension for his new production of Jerome Kern and Oscar Hammerstein II's musical Show Boat.  The production which opens on 16 December 2015, with previews from 10 December, will now run until 23 January 2016.

American composer Jonathan Reid Gealt is back in London to launch his third studio album WHATEVER I WANT IT TO BE on Sunday 11th October at St James Studio before its official worldwide release on 29th November.

The original London cast of Pasek and Paul's Dogfight, will be reunited at the St James Theatre in a concert on Oct. 11.  Jamie Muscato and Laura Jane Matthewson will reprise their performances.  The cast also features Cellen Chugg Jones, Nicholas Corre, Matthew Cutts, Ciaran Joyce, Amanda Minihan, Rebecca Trehearn and Samuel J. Weir.
