"CMA Country Christmas" is set to air Monday, Dec. 10 at 8:00 PM/ET (7:00 PM/CT) on the ABC Television Network. Reba McEntire returns as both host and performer during the holiday music special. In addition to Reba, legendary acts and Country favorites in the all-star lineup include Tony Bennett, Dan + Shay, Brett Eldredge, Amy Grant, Diana Krall, Dustin Lynch, Martina McBride, Old Dominion, Brad Paisley, Michael W. Smith, Lindsey Stirling, The Isaacs and Brett Young coming together for a night filled with Christmas classics and festive one-of-a-kind collaborations. This year marks the ninth broadcast of the seasonal special.
HEAL THE MUSIC Raises $300,000 for the Music Health Alliance

As the 2nd annual “Heal The Music Day” wraps for 2018, more than 170 members of the music community – songwriters, musicians, performers, artist managers, publishers, business managers, record labels, trade organizations and more – pledged a percentage of their single-day revenues to support their fellow musicians and peers in the industry in times of medical crisis. With $300,000 raised in support of Music Health Alliance, every dollar donated equals $30 in life-saving healthcare resources. Music Health Alliance's free services range from access to doctors and hospitals, medicine, health insurance and finding financial assistance during times of illness.
Jimmy Charles to Release Debut EP, HARD WAY TO GO

Singer/songwriter Jimmy Charles' debut EP, HARD WAY TO GO, is set for December 7 release and is available for pre-order now. Charles wrote or co-wrote all but one of the songs with partners whose credits range from cuts by Country legends (Garth Brooks, Reba McEntire, Randy Travis) to young guns (Chris Cagle, Hunter Hayes, Eli Young Band). The disc includes the previously-released 'Superman' and his current single, 'I Am Not Alone.' His music is available to radio via Play MPE and AirPlay Direct and music lovers can find 'I Am Not Alone' on iTunes, Amazon and other popular e-tailers.

Multi-Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and actress Gloria Estefan will host the 41st Annual Kennedy Center Honors, on Sunday, December 2, 2018. The Honors Gala will be recorded for broadcast on the CBS Television Network for the 41st year as a two-hour primetime special on Wednesday, December 26 (8:00-10:00 pm., ET/PT). This will be Estefan's first time hosting the special. She received a Kennedy Center Honors in 2017.

Trump Will Skip Kennedy Center Honors for Second Year in a Row

KENNEDY Center for the Performing Arts will present the 2018 KENNEDY CENTER HONORS for lifetime artistic achievements on December 2, and the event will be held with an empty Presidential box for the second year in a row. NBC reports that President Trump and the first lady will not attend the ceremony, which is typically attended by the first couple.

ABC celebrates the most wonderful time of the year with special '25 Days of Christmas' programming starting Dec. 1. The network joins Freeform, Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior in this fan-favorite TV event. The 'Kickoff to Christmas' begins in late November with perennial holiday treat 'Santa Claus is Comin' to Town.' The month of December is filled with special Christmas-themed episodes, the return of 'The Great Christmas Light Fight' and 'The Great American Baking Show: Holiday Edition,' and timeless animated classics and holiday films. The celebration continues after Christmas with New Year's-themed programming ringing in 2019.

You can currently see her as the tight-fisted, but caring dance teacher Mrs. Wilkinson in Billy Elliot at Signature Theatre. The production plays through January 6, 2019 in the MAX space. GRAMMY-Award winning singer and songwriter Meghan Trainor will perform LIVE at AT&T Stadium during the nationally televised halftime of the Dallas Cowboys game against the Washington Redskins on Thanksgiving Day, kicking off The Salvation Army's annual Red Kettle Campaign. Donations to the iconic campaign help provide shelter and meals for the homeless and hungry, and Christmas toys for millions of children, in addition to numerous other social service programs year-round.
