MTV Books announced today the release of an all new e-book compilation of ten of the most chilling classic vampire stories from the "Weird Tales" vault. The e-book is currently available for download on iTunes, and will be available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble soon.

Composer/lyricist Neil Bartram and book writer Brian Hill, Drama Desk Nominated authors of Broadway's The Story of My Life, will workshop their newest musical Something Wicked This Way Comes, adapted from the novel by Ray Bradbury, with the Weitzenhoffer School of Musical Theatre at the University of Oklahoma in October 2012.
Charlie Lyons, Jay Russell, Tim Guinee Bringing REAR WINDOW to Broadway

Producer Charlie Lyons (The Water Horse, The Guardian, Ladder 49), director Jay Russell (The Water Horse, Ladder 49, My Dog Skip) and actor Tim Guinee (NBC's "Revolution", Showtime's "Homeland", "Iron Man I & II") worked for two years to acquire the theatrical stage rights to the most famous and beloved of all noir short stories, "Rear Window" (aka "It Had to be Murder"). This unique producing consortium announced today their plans to mount a Broadway production of the iconic and haunting tale of the wheelchair bound witness to a possible murder in his neighboring New York City apartment. Although the Broadway rights in this story have been repeatedly sought over the years from the Sheldon Abend Revocable Trust and its predecessors, this is the first option ever granted.

Spotlighting the month-long Halloween festivities, Boomerang will feature spooktacular blocks of The Funky Phantom, Goober and the Ghost Chasers, What's New, Scooby-Doo?, The Munsters (live-action series, 1964-66) and The Addams Family (animated, 1992-95, as well as live-action series, 1964-66) on weekdays from 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (ET, PT) and 9 p.m. to midnight (ET, PT).
