Jeff Farley's love letter to Ray Bradbury will soon be on Bill Oberst Jr.'s face. Special effects makeup artist and Primetime Emmy Award Nominee Farley has just completed the sculpt for Oberst's prosthetic transformation into Bradbury in the authorized stage portrayal of the beloved author, Ray Bradbury Live (forever.)

Otherworld Theatre, which recently opened the world's first venue dedicated to the performance of Science Fiction and Fantasy genres, will produce the Midwest premiere of All I Want is One More Meanwhile… a superhero comedy written by Kelly Jean Fitzsimmons and directed by ensemble member Nathan Pease. Performances are September 26, 2018 - October 27, 2018 as the first mainstage show of its first season at its newly acquired theater location, 3914 N Clark Street, Chicago, IL 60613. Press opening is September 29, 2018. A Midwest Premiere, All I Want Is One More Meanwhile... was originally produced as part of The Brick's Comic Book Theater Festival in Brooklyn.

City Lit Theater will present THE ART OF ADAPTATION, its eleventh juried festival of world premiere adaptations of non-dramatic material, on June 22, 23 and 24, 2018 at its home at 1020 West Bryn Mawr Avenue. Six adaptations were selected following a nationwide call for submissions, and each was awarded a $200.00 prize. A jury of local theater professionals will select a best in show piece and award an additional $300 cash prize to its adapter.

Emmy-winner Bill Oberst Jr. will portray author Ray Bradbury in an Off-Broadway show planned for the 2019-20 season, under a license agreement with the Ray Bradbury Estate. The first staged reading of Ray Bradbury Live (forever) is set for Thursday, April 12, 2018 at 7pm at Theatre Row, 410 W 42nd Street, NYC. A limited number of complimentary seats are available on a first-come basis.
