The best of Broadway will be presented FREE on six consecutive Thursdays this summer with "106.7 Lite FM's Broadway in Bryant Park 2012" - a lunchtime series that began last week, July 12 at 12:30 p.m. on the Bryant Park Stage. Sponsored by Resorts World Casino New York City and hosted by Lite FM's on-air personalities, the twelfth annual presentation of open-air, On- and Off- Broadway lunch hour performances will run through August 16.

Anthony Wayne, currently performing as 'Jimmy' on Broadway in Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, has written and will star in FABULOUS, ONE MORE TIME: A SYLVESTER CONCERT based on the life of the 1970's Disco King/Queen Sylvester at venue in New York City on July 29th, 2012.

The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum, along with the City of New York and the United States Navy, celebrates the 25th annual Fleet Week, now through May 28, 2012. Fleet Week is America's premier tribute and "thank you" to the men and women who serve in the armed forces. As part of the festivities, Peter and the Starcatcher's Teddy Bergman and Greg Hildrethof hosted a Fleet Week Broadway showcase, featuring performers from Anything Goes, Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, Memphis, Ghost, Sister Act, Godspell, Chicago and Rock of Ages. On March 27, Raven-Symone took over the leading role of Deloris Van Cartier in Broadway's SISTER ACT. She is stepping into the high-heeled boots of Tony and Olivier Award nominee Patina Miller, who gave her final performance on Sunday, March 18. SISTER ACT, which will celebrate its one-year Anniversary on Broadway on April 20, is playing at the Broadway Theater. Tasti D-Lite has just unveiled a new flavor, 'Heavenly Cherry,' which was created especially at Tasti D-Lite for Broadway's SISTER ACT. Check out photos from the unveiling of the new flavor below with cast members John Tracey Egan, Caesar Samoya and Demond Green.

Today, February 8, Lincoln Center filmed the matinee performance of SISTER ACT for their famed archives. The show will now be preserved amongst the Broadway classics at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts at Lincoln Center Plaza.

Deadline.com is reporting that Raven-Symoné, known most for starring on the Disney Channel's THATS SO RAVEN will take over for the Tony and Olivier nominated Patina Miller in Broadway's SISTER ACT. The web site reports that she will begin rehearsals at the end of February, and will debut at the end of March 2012 for a 6 month engagement in the show.

The erstwhile jazz singer has such musical theater heavyweights as Michael Mayer, Tom Kitt and William Finn in her corner.

Tony Award nominee Carolee Carmello assumed the role of Mother Superior in the Broadway musical SISTER ACT this November, taking over the role from Victoria Clark. Want a look at Carmello in habit? Check out production shots below!

This winter, from January 2, 2012 through March 4, 2012, SISTER ACT will be performed on the following schedule: Monday at 7pm, Tuesday at 7pm, Wednesday at 2pm and 8pm, Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 2pm and 8pm, and Sunday at 3pm. Beginning March 5, 2012, the performance schedule will be as follows: Tuesday at 7pm, Wednesday at 2pm and 8pm, Thursday at 8pm, Friday at 8pm, Saturday at 2pm and 8pm, and Sunday at 3pm.

On Monday night November 14th, Jonathan Reid Gealt and Matt Hinkley team up to bring you a concert benefiting Broadway Impact! Founded by Rory O'Malley (Book of Mormon), Gavin Creel (Hair), and Jenny Kanelos, Broadway Impact is a grassroots organization of the Theatre community and it's fans, mobilizing in support of marriage equality.

SISTER ACT is currently in its eighth smash month at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway).
