Green Day, whose show, An American Idiot is enjoying a sold out run at Berkeley Rep, was recognized in the Favorite Alternative Rock Artist category. Broadway's Annie Get Your Gun star received recognition in Favorite Female Country Music Artist category. Music award staple Beyonce Knowles, who starred as Dina Jones in the film version of Dreamgirls is celebrated with three nominations for her album I Am...Sasha Fierce.
