The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey's 2014 Season will conclude with the Bard's beloved battle of wits, Much Ado About Nothing. Renowned Stratford Festival artist Scott Wentworth will perform 'double duty,' directing the production and playing the staunch bachelor Benedick, opposite his real-life wife Marion Adler as the feisty Beatrice. This production will celebrate the winter holiday season, filled with music and dance that evokes the end of World War II, White Christmas era. Performances begin December 3rd at the F.M. Kirby Shakespeare Theatre, 36 Madison Ave. (at Lancaster Road) in Madison.

Isaac, Tom Nelis, Joe Penczak, Jacob Perkins, Christina Rouner, Robert Sella, Susanna Stahlmann, and more.

Red Bull Theater's Revelations Readings kicked off its new season with a gala benefit reading of WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE'S THE TEMPEST, featuring Michael Cerveris as Prospero. Directed by Jesse Berger the cast also included De'Adre Aziza, Gerry Bamman, Clifton Duncan,Angel Desai, Sean Patrick Doyle, Glenn Fleshler, Carman Lacivita, Drew Ledbetter, Matthew Rauch, Jay O. Sanders,Stephen Spinella, Raphael Nash Thompson, Auden Thornton,Michael Urie, Marc Vietor, and more. The Tempest featured original live music by Greg Pliska. It took place for one night only on October 20th at Playwrights Horizons, 416 West 42nd Street, between 9th and 10th Avenues. Red Bull Theater today announced that their Eleventh Season will include a rare revival of John Ford's 'Tis Pity She's a Whore along with an all new season of their acclaimed Revelation Readings, including Dekker & Middleton's The Honest Whore, Ford's Perkin Warbeck and Love's Sacrifice, Baillie's De Montfort, Ludlam's Camille, Euripides's Hippolytos, Middleton's A Chaste Maid in Cheapside, Calderon's Life Is a Dream, Ibsen's The Wild Duck (a new version by Pulitzer Prize-winner David Auburn), Beaumont & Fletcher's The Maid's Tragedy, Marston's The Dutch Courtesan, Sheridan's The School For Scandal, with casts that include Olympia Dukakis, Hamish Linklater, Lily Rabe, Charlayne Woodard, Brian D'Arcy James, Rocco Sisto, Robert Cuccioli, Charles Busch, Everett Quinton, Arnie Burton, Tom Hewitt, Jennifer Ikeda, Christopher Innvar, Sam Tsoutsouvas, Rebecca Brooksher, Jeremy Shamos, Harris Yulin, Nick Westrate, Carson Elrod, and Jeanine Serralles, among others.

Emily Bergl, Sheila Bandyopadhyay & More Set for Red Bull's Staged Reading of THE ROARING GIRL, 3/24

Today, Red Bull Theater announced the cast for their Staged Reading of The Roaring Girl, by Thomas Dekker and Thomas Middleton: Emily Bergl (of Showtime's 'Shameless'), Sheila Bandyopadhyay, Michael Braun, Clifton Duncan, Miriam Hyman, Whit Leyenberger, David Manis, Alex Morf, Tom O'Keefe, Bhavesh Patel, Pearl Rhein, Rocco Sisto, Raphael Nash Thompson, Sam Tsoutsouvas, and Lisa Wolpe. The Roaring Girl will be directed by Ben Prusiner and will take place Monday March 24th at 7:30pm at the Lucille Lortel Theater, 121 Christopher Street, between Bleecker and Hudson Streets.

This replica of an ancient Greek theatre nestled into the hillside of the bucolic campus offers a theatrical event unique on the East Coast.
