Cabrillo Music Theatre welcomes a new gang in the theatre's premiere of the classic rock 'n' roll musical, GREASE. Guided by Director Barry Pearl ('Doody' in the film version of 'Grease') and Choreographer Kelly Ward ('Putzie' in the movie) and Musical Director David O, GREASE provides a showcase for 16 talented young people in this classic rock n' roll musical. GREASE opened on Friday, April 12th, 2013, and plays until Sunday, April 21st, at the 1,800-seat Kavli Theatre at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, located at 2100 Thousand Oaks Boulevard in Thousand Oaks. Broadway Chorus will present 'Broadway Bash', a lively romp through some of Broadway's best party songs. Selections such as The Life of the Party (The Wild Party), Hostess with the Mostess (Call Me Madam), Masquerade (Phantom of the Opera), Raise the Roof (The Wild Party) and Dancing through Life (Wicked) will be a few of the fun selections performed by the chorus.

I Am Harvey Milk, the new oratorio with music and words by Tony and Grammy Award nominee Andrew Lippa, will have its world premiere at The Nourse Auditorium (201-299 Hayes Street, San Francisco) as part of the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus 35th Anniversary Celebration concert, "Harvey Milk 2013." The special two-night engagement will take place at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 27 and Friday, June 28. Starring Mr. Lippa as Harvey Milk and Tony Award-winner Laura Benanti as the Soprano soloist, I Am Harvey Milk is directed by Noah Himmelstein, conducted by Dr. Timothy Seelig, orchestrated by August Eriksmoen, and will feature the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus accompanied by the Bay Area Rainbow Symphony. I Am Harvey Milk is produced by Bruce Cohen, in association with Robb Nanus and Jessica Leventhal.

The producers of the hit musical comedy NICE WORK IF YOU CAN GET IT have just announced that Tony Award nominee Jessie Mueller, John Treacy Egan and Conrad John Schuck will join the production on Friday, March 29th in the roles of Billie Bendix, Chief Berry and Senator Max Evergreen (respectively). Kelli O'Hara, Stanley Wayne Mathis and Terry Beaver played their final performance on Sunday, March 24th.

Cirque du Soleil has arrived to Citi Field, its new New York City location, and is in complete set-up mode in preparation for the March 14 opening night of its awe-inspiring touring production TOTEM. The show's trademark blue-and-yellow big top was raised earlier today in the stadium's parking lot by a team of more than 60 men and women who worked for several hours to pound pegs, hoist more than 100 support poles, unfurl the canvas, and finally raise the roof of the acrobatic and theatrical experience that is TOTEM.
