After successful performances of “Falla & Flamenco” with the Los Angeles Philharmonic in 2015 and 2019, Siudy Garrido Flamenco Company returns to California with multiple dates this June to perform their enthralling 'Flamenco Intimo.' Dates include June 3 at Los Angeles' Wilshire Ebell Theatre, June 4 at the Lobero Theatre in Santa Barbara, and June 5 at Blue Shield of California Theater at YBCA in San Francisco.

'Dionisio - La Vid I Mil Noches' ('Dionisio - the Vines and 1000 Nights') is the name of Rafael Amargo's latest crossover dance show. This production will soon continue its international tour due to an invitation to the 65. International Theatre Festival in Mérida/Spain. The only two performances at the historic Teatro Romano de Mérida (constructed in the years 16 to 15 BCE) will take place July 16th and 17th, 2019 and are expected to be sold out quickly. Presales got already started, tickets bought before May 31st can be purchased with a discount of 30%.

After her wildly popular 2015 debut, flamenco dance dynamo Leilah Broukhim returns to The Younes and Soraya Nazarian Center for the Performing Arts (formerly Valley Performing Arts Center) with Dejando Huellas (Traces), a personal story about her own Jewish and Persian heritage. Broukhim's furious flamenco footwork exalts the Spanish art form, while her emotional expression tells the tale of a woman searching for meaning and identity. Dejando Huellas makes its LA debut after performances in Paris, New York, Madrid, and Copenhagen.

The one-night concert will highlight the traditions of La Familia Fernandez, one of Flamenco's most distinguished families. Olla and Fernandez, while famous in Spain, are rarely seen in concert in the U.S., but they appeared in March at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC and more recently in a sold-out NYC Tablao at the Roger Smith Hotel that produced cries for more. The May 28 concert is an opportunity for them to share their distinctive music and techniques with a wider audience. Seating is limited to 260 seats.
