Chicago Shakes Announces 25th Ann. Season; Includes FOLLIES, THE TEMPEST

HAIR Among Blockbuster Musicals to play at Paramount Theatre in 2011-12

Starting next fall, the Paramount will join the ranks of Chicago's top Equity houses by self-producing and presenting a spectacular, four-show Broadway series including My Fair Lady (September 14-October 2, 2011), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat (November 2-November 20, 2011), A Chorus Line (January 18-February 5, 2012) and Hair (March 14-April 2, 2012).

Fox Valley Rep Presents Performances in March at Pheasant Run

This March, Fox Valley Repertory presents a variety of musical performances and comedy, including: FVR Youth Ensemble's colorful Seussical Jr., the four-star comedy of family vacations Leaving Iowa, the St. Patrick's Day favorite Flanagan's Wake, a tribute to the Eagles with Heartache Tonight, and Fox Valley Rep's production of the hit Off-Broadway musical, Always Patsy Cline, at Pheasant Run Resort (4051 E. The song and tap extravaganza 42nd STREET previews March 30th, opens April 10th and runs through May 29th at the Marriott Theatre, 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire, IL. The Broadway production of 42nd STREET won the Tony Award for Best Musical and Choreography in 1980, and Best Revival in 2001. The Marriott Theatre's production will feature Direction and Musical Staging by 2010 Jeff Award winner Rachel Rockwell, Choreography by 2010 Jeff Award winner Tammy Mader, with Musical Direction by multi-Jeff Award winner Doug Peck.
